2008 Copperheads' Centerfielder and Southern Ohio single season record-holder for stolen bases in a year, Tony Campana steals three bases in a trip for the Diamondbacks' AAA affiliate Reno Aces.
Blaise Salter (C, 2012 team) and Andrew Waszack (P, 2011 team) swept last weeks Big Ten Player and Pitcher of the Week awards for the Michigan State Spartans.
Though the first ever title still alludes the team, the Copperheads organization and Southeast Ohio region has much to be proud of with the 2012 season.
Zak Esposito only made two starts for the Copperheads last season, but boy, did he make them count.
After his first season as a member of the Costal Carolina University baseball team, pitcher Tom Durkin will be leaving the shores and heading inland to Athens, Ohio, to join other college athletes while playing for the Southern Ohio Copperheads.
